Abdominal wall reconstruction is for patients who experience recurrent hernias, infections that develop after surgery, or wounds that develop after hernia repairs. Dr. Rubinstein uses advanced surgical techniques to reshape the abdominal wall and strengthen areas of weak muscular tissues. A surgical mesh is often used to help strengthen and restrain the abdominal tissues.
