Selecting a board certified plastic surgeon you can trust is the first step to achieving a successful cosmetic outcome. Having plastic surgery can be a life-changing event, that’s why it is important to select a plastic surgeon that is qualified, provides a safe environment, and who protects you both before and after your surgery.
CosmetAssure® is the gold standard in complications insurance, a solution allowing patients who choose to have elective cosmetic surgery to avoid the financial burden of unexpected post-surgery complications. CosmetAssure® is endorsed by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and covers the cost of caring for complications within the first 45 days after cosmetic surgery.
All surgery carries the risk of a complication, including cosmetic surgery. You may think that your regular medical insurance will cover these complications; however, medical insurance may not be enough. The majority of major medical insurance policies have excluded payment for complications if they are the result of an elective cosmetic procedure, even if medically necessary.
That’s why, as a Participating Surgeon, Dr. Roee Rubinstein enrolls his cosmetic patients in the CosmetAssure® program. With CosmetAssure® our patients have the knowledge and confidence that Dr. Rubinstein has planned ahead and taken the precautionary steps to cover them in the event of an eligible loss.

Without CosmetAssure®, patients may be left with a financial burden should a complication arise after an elective cosmetic surgery. If your insurance carrier covers the cost of a complication CosmetAssure® will pay or reimburse other out of pocket medical expenses related to the treatment of the complication.
